AQE is operated by a founder with a background in emergency management, military service, and cross-agency coordination — federal, state, and local. That background is the credibility behind AQ Air's After-Action Report and Disaster Assessment lines: documentation built to a standard these organizations already have to meet, delivered by someone who has sat on their side of the table.

That same operational discipline carries across AQ Air's other lines — a boutique expedition brand and a slate of media channels — run with the same standard of preparation and follow-through a much larger team would be expected to hold.

The mark carries the story: a wayfinding compass, and a wing in flight built from the silhouette of a manta ray and a whale shark — the two animals that surfaced in Maui's waters the week this business began.
